Gemma Mackenzie, Psychologist.
I will outline my professional training and experience below, along with some information about what you can expect in therapy. First I would just like to say, welcome to our clinic. As an international myself, having relocated from Australia, I have first hand experience with living abroad.
I have a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Psychology (BS. Psych) from the University of Sydney, Australia. I furthermore have a Graduate Diploma in Professional Psychology (PGD. Psych) from the University of Wollongong, Australia. In Denmark I am registered as a psychologist with the Danish Supervisory Board of Psychological Practice, and in Australia I am registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
As a psychologist I have worked for many years with people from diverse backgrounds and life experiences, treating people with a broad range of issues including: anxiety and stress, mood disorders, borderline personality disorder, trauma and sexual assault, relationship difficulties, and coping with loss and adjustment, to name a few. I am also trained in working with adolescents, parents and families to address conflict, manage mental health and behaviour concerns, and to facilitate healthy, caring relationships.
